Flannels 4 Heroes

A wonderful thing to be involved with, Flannels 4 Heroes is in its 3rd year.  Ex England cricketers and supporters and celebs mix with  serving and wounded military for a day of 20/20 cricket and fundraising; raising money for Walking with the Wounded, Combat Stress, and On Course charities.

The day started off a little on the worrying side, threatening rain at the wonderful surroundings of Burton Court; part of the Royal Hospital Chelsea real-estate.

However, at lunch time, and without any disruption to play, the sun came out and stayed out for a beautiful day!

As well as the cricket, there was an auction conducted by Lord Jeffrey Archer (he was terribly good at it too – very funny) and the MC was Chris Cowdrey.

The photography was fun; a chance to have a bit of a play mixing techniques to best effect and hopefully giving the organisers something a little different.
