Nunney International Horse Trials

After a long Friday photographing the cricket, came a day photographing some of the beautiful horses taking part at the International Horse Trials just outside the glorious Somerset village of Nunney.  This has become a really big event, having taken the reins from the original Longleat event.

Although I was lucky enough to get great access to the course, and a Landrover to carry me from place to place, I was not lucky with the weather and it rained heavily for much of the day!

The aim was to get some images that are not the usual thing produced at these sort of events, and to get something far more “arty”.  In the heavy rain, this was tricky, but some good results even so – I hope!
