Field Marshal Chapple
The next phase of my “Gurkhas Behind the Lens” project sees Field Marshal Sir John Chapple GCB, CBE and Private Shekhar Thapa paired for the photographs. There are not many Field Marshals remaining, and FM Sir John has a very long history with Gurkhas.
Chelsea Pensioners
So, the third stage of my “Gurkhas Behind the Lens” is complete. This time I took Rifleman Manbahadur Thapa to the Royal Hospital at Chelsea to photograph one of the pensioners. The weather was changeable to say the least
