Army Bands – Freedom of Richmond and Twickenham
As part of my Army Recruiting commission, I was asked to come up to Kneller Hall in Twickenham (the HQ of the Corps of Army Music) because they had a day of musical displays for the town-folk around Richmond and Twickenham as they were given the Freedom of the boroughs.
The music was sensational, and of course with such incredible bands, the sights were spectacular too.
Getting images that are useful for recruiting is challenging when you haven’t got full control and there were huge crowds watching the different events.
But the variety of images I produced will give them a good stock for future use. I will be back in a couple of weeks to do a far more detailed shot where we can stage a couple of scenarios. Looking forward to that – the music is, of course, just terrific!
