GP Update Training Day

It’s been a very busy winter with quite a lot of travel, and planning, and getting a book launch sorted, and some really interesting shoots…  This one was at the very end of January at a conference centre near Reading.  GP Update (or Red Whale as it is also known) is  a company of Medical professionals who travel the country briefing all the GPs and nurses on current stuff to keep them all up to date. Great bunch of guys and girls who were engaged in some team-building and updating themselves.  My role was one of those where the brief is pretty wide-ranging simply to cover the events for the day.  These jobs are usually good fun, and great fillers for photographers like me who are often long distances from home, or engaged with big corporate clients.  Also a good time to keep colour temperature White Balance skills up to scratch in rooms with mixed fluorescent and daylight.  The lighting in these places is always terrible for photographers……!
