Salon Privé – Syon House London

Last week, on behalf of EFG Bank Switzerland who sponsored the event, I photographed some of the amazing cars being exhibited at the Salon Privé British Supercar Show.  This is an exquisite event; terribly British and in some ways understated (as understated as you can be when your car is £15million!).

As you would expect, many of the main car marques are represented in gentile trade stands, and then behind the beautiful Syon House sit the older cars who were being judged for the Concours d’Elegance.

It was a very warm day – eased by lobster and champagne at lunch, but being hosted by EFG bank is a very pleasant experience (huge thanks to Keith and Nicola Gapp) – thoroughly recommended!

I took my Nikon D4, and 70-200mm – trying to get the “feel” of the event and shooting wide-open, and playing the shadows of the sun to advantage.
