“Sadsville”
Early in the year I supported Martin Roberts (Homes Under the Hammer) as he launched his brilliant new book – Sadsville. He has written a whole series of childrens’ books, and one of them features a scenario where everyone is in a permananet state of sadness…. But the clever thing is, it is a book that is designed to help children with their thoughts and guide them through areas of sadness as they grow. Martin is hoping to release the book to every 9/10 year old in the country – a big challenge but one that is supported by the NSPCC, Childline, and other brilliant organisations involved in childrens’ welfare. There were 2 main events; the initial launch in Weston-Super-Mare and then a formal launch in the House of Commons.
