London Club Portraits

I hadn’t been to the Reform Club before, despite having photographed in some of the Clubs that surround it.  But what an incredible place – the Atrium is staggering.  I think both Die Another Day and Quantum of Solace were two of the Bond films that used the Club (for a Club called “Blades” and then Judy Dench’s office as “M”)

Andrew is a former Army Officer turned finance boss in Hong Kong and the Far East. Indeed he lives now in Thailand and uses the Club as his London home.  Super chap and a delight to photograph.  Permission had to be gained from the Club secretary for the images in the Library and the Atrium, and Andrew ended up with over 20 different portraits.  He donated a chunk of money to the Gurkha Welfare Trust too, so a very handsome day!
