Horse Portrait
Well, I have taken a number of horse portraits this year – really great fun and I am enjoying exploring my equine side – having been brought up on a farm I have always felt an affinity; although undeserved. This horse was lovely – but painful to photograph.
She would not keep her head up – despite owners efforts; she was very interested in the lush grass in the field by the stable. So, using a little flash pushing the exposure, I had to take these images just as Kirsten fed a “treat” to Mia; in the split second before she lowered her head to feed on the grass again.
A great experience though – and nice to know I can get something worthwhile even in the most difficult situation!
