Food Photography for the Victory Services Club, London

Some photographers enjoy their landscapes, some shoot exclusively portraits, and others are at home in the events markets.
 I like to do every aspect of photography – I am a generalist in that distinct sense, and I love all types; whether its reacting to a face or in the studio with a model, or at daybreak on the top of a remote hill.

A couple of weeks ago I was photographing in London again (I need a flat there!) for the Victory Services Club who have a new menu and a brilliant chef and his team.  The brief was to photograph the dishes for their new menu, and to show some of the corporate offers available.  I love this sort of thing – I don’t tend to use food “make-up artists” and I like to photograph the food freshly prepared without it being played with too much – it gives a much cleaner and fresher feel!  I think we ended up photographing about 30 different dishes and displays; a long day, but a fun one!  Of course, the Victory Services Club prides itself on its Club menu, but boy, did they look fantastic and taste good!
